High School Summer REFUGE
(SUNDAYS 4:30 pm TO 6:00 pm)
REFUGE is our HS small group program specifically designed to reach out and meet the needs of all High School students, whether they are a regular attender of our Student Ministry Program or they are visitor brought by one of our students. For High School Students who are looking for a way to connect to other High School Students and grow in the walk with Christ....REFUGE truly is the place to be!!

An important goal of our Student Ministry Program is to expose students to Service and Mission opportunities. We try to do that through a variety of ways. First through service opportunities within our own church (reaching out to widows and those in our church who are in need), second through participation in Mission Groups serving the Kansas City Innercity (Harvester's Food Bank, City Union Mission, Etc.), and third and final through participation in mission trips (High School Mexico Mission Trip) We truly feel it's important to challenge our students to serve as Christ has challenged us to do.
Our High School Ministry Program hosts and participates in a number of events and activities throughout the year.for. Here is just a list of some of the events we host and attend: Local Outings (World's of Fun, Royals Games, Pool Parties, Concerts, Bowling, Annual Super Bowl Party, etc.) and Out-Of-Town Trips (Dare2Share Conference, Christ In Youth Summer MOVE Conference, trip to the Hay Swings in Springfield, Bible College Visits, Ski Trips, etc.)
